The Field of Forward

From Concept to Cure

We’re a clinical trial operations consultancy that advances the research of the brightest minds in biotech, keeping the patients behind the data front and center.

Foxglove Clinical was founded on a simple principle: clinical operations should be a strategic advantage, not just a necessary function. Too many promising therapies face unnecessary delays, cost overruns, and operational challenges that could be prevented with the right expertise and approach.

Why Foxglove?

Science in Bloom

The foxglove plant produces digitalis—a compound that has saved countless lives when prepared with precision and care. Clinical trials demand the same approach. The difference between success and failure often lies not in the grand gestures, but in the accumulated precision of thousands of small decisions. Like the foxglove itself, clinical operations become truly powerful when handled with expertise, intention, and unwavering focus on the healing that lies ahead.

Founder’s Perspective

From Laboratory to Clinic

With more than 15 years of experience in clinical research and drug development, Casey Witt brings a rare blend of scientific depth and operational leadership to early-stage biotech companies.

At Foxglove Clinical, she leverages her expertise in site-relationship management, CRO oversight, and sponsor-side execution to help biotech innovators move confidently into the clinic and deliver treatments to patients with speed, quality, and care.

Background

Casey’s background spans across multiple therapeutic areas including CNS, oncology, and rare disease. She has executed studies investigating treatments of multiple modalities including small molecules, radiopharmaceuticals, gene therapies, amongst others. The studies she has led have been global, following complex trial designs such as Phase II/II adaptive design studies. Trial data generated under her leadership have led to multiple submissions and high-stakes regulatory interactions—including bringing a previously withdrawn drug back to the market after participating in an FDA Advisory Committee meeting.

Casey has co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, is a patent holder, and has successfully bridged her love of science and drive to bring new treatments to patients through her expertise in clinical trial execution.

Mission

Casey founded Foxglove Clinical to bring structure, care, and strategic thinking to clinical operations—helping biotech teams navigate the complexities of bringing breakthrough therapies to patients who need them most.

Diligence is Key

Thoughtful persistence is what clears the path forward. We believe operational excellence isn't about following checklists—it's about understanding the strategic importance of every detail and executing with the precision your science deserves.

Structure is Strategy

Great clinical execution starts with intentional systems, clear processes, and proven methodologies. Structure doesn't constrain innovation—it enables it by creating the stable foundation from which breakthrough science can flourish.

Fast + Right

We move with urgency because we understand what's at stake, but never sacrifice quality for speed. The goal isn't to be first—it's to be right, reliable, and ready when regulatory milestones matter most.
